There is a component I made for the FixPack which will add the Journal entries into the correct sections of the Journal (Quests or Done Quests).
Otherwise they all by default go into the Journal section, as the BG1 one only had one page. So the Journal does work in Tutu, just the entries are not organised without this mod component.
While the Organised Journal Entries component is purely cosmetic, you should really be using the FixPack for the bugfixes:

Note there will still be no entries in the prologue, as there is no Journal page for Chapter Zero.
