For all I know, the SP campaign might be good, but I really don't get into single player anymore. No big watching a Pally die 50+ times fighting a dragon, for one thing...Still one of the best stories I have from Undermountain...Other than the five IW'ers that met up and got totally thrashed by that same dragon when he was still relatively new to the server. Online play is where it's at for me, and I'm not big on PW's. At least not yet. We had planned to build a PW for 2, but that remains to be seen. Flying, horses, et al meant very little to me, but cutting up a perfectly good game to make a sequel is not the way to go. It's not like they had to build a dm client for the game, and found out they couldn't, the client was already there. They dedicated all their time to the SP campaign, and that's all they are worried about. Modules like Undermountain will probably be impossible for all but people with ultimate gaming machines, a class that cuts me out, by a vid card, and a gig of ram...sucks. So you see, it's not just the DM client that has me upset with OE, it's the whole project. Things that were supposed to be in game, like mounts, that got pulled because they have to hurry up and release; Atari's fault, as far as I can see, and the last time I knew, the SP campaign wasn't even finished, so it's going to be rushed out to make their Sept release date. All signs that a game isn't going to be everything it should be.
