I started my Druid as a Ranger for 3 levels so I could get all the duel wield attributes without having to pick them. Now that my Druid is 15th level he is kicking butt with a scimitar and rapier. It's fun to launch a few area effect spells in the midst of everyone then wade in with swords ablazing. The fight with the rakshasas was great because I could melee good with them and my panther "Binks" was sneak attacking for 30-40 points of damage. This was a very tough charactor to play up until 14th level though.
