I could not find it either (cleric with no *spots*) team up with Sharwyn for a day and she will discover many hidden doors 
Maybe that kobold thing, Deakin? may help [/QUOTE]I went thru with a dwarf as well the first time. I added a bare minimum number of spotting points and took deekin as well. Not sure WHO found the secret doors but the combination worked for me.

The "creator" on that level is located to the upper right behind at least one and possibly two secret doors.
