I had sold my 2 rubies and it would have cost me 19,200 to get them back. Since I can't seem to find a 3rd (I would have used 3 for the greater spell mantle). So I didn't buy them back. Instead I used a whole lot of slaadi tongues to create a stone that does Death spell and Energy buffer.
I am running a cleric and I have already created the 3 defense staff with Bull's strength, Resist elements and Stoneskin (I normally apply these 3 after resting, now I can free some spell slots). I am not sure if Resist elements and Energy buffer stack, but oh well.
Note that the stone only has 20 charges but it is only 1 charge per use.
