After killing heaps of undead who posed no serious threat to her minions and fireballs. She found the body of some mage who had been to weak to stand up to the hordes of undead and gave his brother the journal but kept the staff. Gulnan had been quite resistant to her spells and had had a lot of minions but being able to cast three fireballs here did help her a lot. Gulnan's heart in her backpack Cang wanted to go back and visit the academy but wasn't able to get inside the gates. Furious she slaughtered quite some of the people in the tavern in Beggar's nest. Her bloodlust satisfied she headed back to the city center and went to see Eltoura. The minogon she had to face was the toughest enemy so far and she needed to use all of her spells to defeat it. Tomi, Niamat and the summoned spider died in this battle.
She went back to see Aribeth and gave her the last ingredient. When asked whether she was ready to participate in the making of the ingredient she said no since she still had to find some tomb, or so Oleff had told her. And besides now that the menace of the illness was nearly gone the town was going to need less guards... She could help select the ones who were to die.
