The docks was a filthy place full of thieves and those stupid town guards Cang thought to herself while sipping some wine in a tavern. She had even had to bring the wine with herself as they did not have any here. The events of the last few hours flashed before her eyes. She had tried to get into this same tavern but was told by a now dead beggar that she needed to either pay or get a uniform. Cang decided that getting the uniform was a better solution and went to see the pirates on their boat. Unfortunately they did not want to give her a uniform so she had to take it from their dead bodies. After killing them she was asked by a bloke named Masterson to get his amulet back. She decided to get the amulet, but she did not yet know whether she was going to give it back. Depended on what properties the amulet had. Then before heading into the tavern, where she had learned from several papers carried by thieves that some remedy was going to be sold, she decided to take care of Androd first. His guards had been competent, but they did not seem to know the real danger. They always attacked Armag while she blasted away at them with spells from a distance.
Finally after killing a lot of guards she reached Androd himself. He begged her not to kill him but unluckily for him Cang had never liked nobility and prefered to steal everything from Androd's house and was afraid he might recognize her later. After killing Androd, getting the statuette and stealing everything possible from the mansion Cang made her way to the tavern next door.
She was let in thanks to the uniform. Inside she spotted some of the pirates whose comrades she had just killed and decided to sneak upstairs to change before speaking to them. Upstairs after taking a few gold pieces from the rooms and changing she met a strange guy in a sauna who told her the password to the lower level of the tavern.
In order to get the key Cang wanted to beat the officer of the pirates in a drinking contest but unfortunately she did not support alcohol too well and lost. To heal her ego she used ten pieces of the thieves money to buy herself a cloak.
After killing the cook for being unpolite to her she proceeded to the lower level. Several pirates tried to stop her, but apart from Armag dying a few times she rescued the pirate leaders lover quite easily. Making her believe that she wanted to help wasn't hard and she managed to find out where she needed to go. The scarabs in the house and in the sewers were annoying but apart from being covered in the acid blow of one of them Cang escaped without a scratch. She had always been bad with names so when she had to choose which of the pirate leaders she needed to kill, she was at a loss. From a distance while they still could not see her she possessed Armag and sent him closer and then started firing away spells at the first group. She needed to return to the temple and rest twice to be able to resummon Armag, but in the end the opposition did die. However they did not have anything which resembled to one of the creatures she had been looking for. So from the other side of the bars she fired away several spells at the other group of pirates and then took their possessions also. And then finally she was able to get rid of Armag, and instead she was now able to summon Eara, whom she called a beholder even though he was not one.
Then she found the cockatrice feather and took that back to Aribeth and the statue to Ophala. Both were happy and rewarded her. With her newfound money she bought herself haste and fire arrow and set off to another of the town's sectors.
