Description:

Since her parents were killed while she was still young she got to live with adoptive parents. However they were not nice to her and her adoptive father beat her regularly. At the age of 18 she poisoned her adoptive parents and went to the Neverwinter Academy to learn the arts of magic so as to be able to defend herself.

STR: 10
DEX: 12
CON: 12
INT: 18
WIS: 10
CHA: 10

Most of the teachers at the academy had been boring except for the magic training of course. Cang was happy with the staff she had gotten after completing her training. Illimited use sounded really good to her. The spell was a bit weak, but she was going to be able to cast better spells later on anyway. Then the time of the ceremony was getting close. The great Aribeth (so some said) was going to be present herself.

But then during the ceremony a disgusting thing happened: some mages attacked them and Cang did not manage to get the opportunity to be praised. Furious with these attackers she started using her new staff against them. Then seeing that her co-students had also joined the battle she saw the perfect opportunity to get rid of them and let them fight alone. Then when all of them were dead she let Aribeth weaken the mages and then she fired the killing shot at them.

After the battle was over Aribeth asked her to find some creatures. At first Cang did not want to accept but then Aribeth started talking about some reward and she felt compelled to accept. She left the room and then met the mage for the first time. She started firing away at him with her staff, but then he disappeared after leaving her to fight a few goblins. After about half an hour the whole of the zone was cleared out and Cang found that she was the only survivor in this part of the academy. All of the tutors had been killed. And it was them who had tried to teach her. She did feel a certain desire to let the creatures in the cages go free, but then realised that she wasn't powerful enough to overcome them. Yet. She vowed to try and come back later. As she ventured on she met the guy who had tried to explain some extremely trivial stuff to her earlier that morning. And now he wanted to come with her? Cang disgustedly did not accept, deciding to let the weak human fight for himself.

The skeletons and the goblins did not pose any serious problems to her staff. She met some old man who seemed to cast a spell on her because afterwards she felt much stronger and was able to summon a familiar. She felt that dragons were cool so she chose a pseudo dragon. Too late she realised that the dragon was of good alignment. She vowed that as soon as she got the chance she would get rid of him and get something evil, like that mini beholder she had read about. She finally reached the stables where the four creatures could be found, but the stupid beasts not realising that now that she had arrived the danger was past fled. Cang and Armag, the pseudodragon easily took care of the goblins then got insulted for doing so by some stupid cleric. This guaranteed him a place on Cang's blacklist. A list whose purpose was that Cang remembered who she wanted to kill. She did not want to accept the mission Fenthick and Aribeth wanted to give to him, but then she had to as they threatened to send the whole of the guard after her. This made her annoyed with the guards so when she stepped out of the temple she killed all the guards in sight, although she did suffer some minor wounds and that stupid dragon of hers died in the process.

However Aribeth not knowing what vile task Cang had just performed healed her fully. Cang thought about getting a companion for herself, but after seeing the weaklings which the town had to propose she decided against it. After wandering a bit around the town center she agreed to free some animals from a zoo and to steal some art. One of the places where she had to steal the art from was in the docks so she decided to head that way. She was just about to open the gate leading there when the guard who was there stopped her. Annoyed by this she killed him, using her staff and some magic missiles and then killed those who had seen her do so.

She proceeded to the thief infested docks.
