In a persons post you should see a little P/M icon that looks like this

Click this and type in message you want to give them then hit send.

When they log into the message board they will be alerted to the PM. For some reason you have disable the P/M capability in your profile. you may want to change that.

Also instead of posting twice like you just have use the EDIT option. It looks like this

this will allow you to edit your post for any additional information. Stops you from spaming up the boards with double posts.
