Oh, I know what Genasi is, Hawkins, they're just not available as a playable race in NWN.
Besides, Genasi existed in 2nd edition as well.
Not all PC races are available in NWN, but neither are all feats, spells and monsters. You can't possibly squeese all that into a computer game, you have to pick and choose some things and leave others, and since NWN takes place in the Forgotten Realms I assume that Genasis are not very common. The only setting in which I've heard about them is the Planescape setting.
