As a Mod maker, and someone who doens't want players to get their hands on any SUPER WEAPONS, I fear my weapons do more to forward the story than give you any major advantage. You know, thinks like a ring of regeneration tied to a god of healing, but if you talk to an evil cleric opposed to that god while you have it in your inventory....whammo ! Yer under attack !

Or +10d10 fire damage only vs one particular monster , and it's just a normal +1 sword otherwise. Stuff like that.
