Well, the Bastard sword is a one or a twohanded weapon. IN NWN they have clearly made it much simplified then in the P&P rules.
The Bastardsword is a twohanded weapon unless you take a feat two be able to choose how to swing it around..
In NWN this does not really make much different, but the difference in P&P can be alot. The sword does D10 as basic damage, and the only problem I have is that the game doesnīt let you choose to wield it with two hands or not.. Same with bucklers, when to use it or not could be simpler, now it is just another small shield..
Weight do make a big difference. The different encumbrance states determines your max speed and movement as your Max dex and skill penalty. Not sure how much they have added into NWN. For example, a rouge with heavy armour looses many powers, for example the evasion feat, and has a max dex of +3 or something.. Not sure and too tired to go and check the accurate numbers for ya
*yawn*
