Another thing you could do if you just started a new chapter, is:

1) Save your character
2) make a cool module, creating any sweet items you want your character to have in the single player game.
3) import your character into the module and get the goods
4) save your character again
5) import your new and improved character into your current game.

On a side note, be sure to disable lvl requirements in a file. I forget which file and line to alter, but Im sure that its either in the site that Niadh gave you, or someone here knows...

Err... Not that Ive actually done this, a friend, YEAH! A FRIEND told me how to do it, and I havent done it though, because that would be CHEATING, and I +NEVER+ cheat, cause its bad......Riiiggght, Im going now.
