NWN has i's good points and it's bad points. You have to weigh the facts to decide what you think, for yourself. Let me summarize a few points taht have been discussed in the past here.
Positive:
* Multi playing feature superb, and always gets better, due to unlimited games that can be created and played with friends, etc. One would say this game was created for Multi-playing people in mind.
* The Game's toolset lets you take your imagination wherever you want to go, then you can make your game available for others. The toolset's abilities and inventories are being added to all the time.
* A good single-player game is included with game. If you are not the Multi playing, world creating sort...then not only do you get a single-player game with the purchase...you will be pleased to know that two add-on games are being worked on and released soon. They are kinda like expansions...but the price is a little high to call them that. Each of the single-player games should equal the amount of time of BGII.
*Graphics and game play are wonderful...not much I can add to there...just go look at some screen shots on their homepage.
Negatives:
* Of course, not everybody has the same tastes in gaming...and I have heard alot of people say that they were not satisfied with the single-player story-line.
* Some say, and I tend to agree...that they are not coming out with add-in toolset abilities fast enough. So far, they have given us a rat, a kolbold, and a couple other creatures...but no real good stuff yet. We have our hopes...but are impatiently waiting for more deadly creatures, more powerful items and spells...etc...but alas,,,we can just wait.
