I found that after I updated to 1.25, that I had more bugs. So i went to
www.nwn.bioware.com and got the beta 1.26 patch. Just remember that before you update to the real 1.26 you have to uninstall the beta version. I found that the beta version helped in some of the bugs that ppl are encountering. Included the whole animal empathy thing. (it doesn't really effect me cuz I'm a 11 level Dwarven Fighter.)
