PW means persistent world. That should be a game server that is always up, and it's designed to be MMPORG type, although with only up to 64 players. The others are pretty much what they say, Action means the focus is on killing stuff, Story means it's plot oriented, RP means role playing, people play in character and try to avoid talking about game stuff in out of context (OOC) ways.
