I agree, the portraits are pretty bad. There's no real good portrait for each class and race, and there needs to be.
Even worse are the voices. Half of them seem to be intended solely for comic relief, and the others are just brash and burly. There's no real choice for a reserved, serious adventurer. The female voices are just as bad, with only two that I even consider useable, one of which is mislabeled seductress.
