So I went in at the gates, cleaned out the whole of the ground floor, (though I wasn't sure what to do about the altar with the demon fella), then I went upstairs, thinking that I'd clean that out and then go downstairs where I assumed the real action would be. Wrong! Stupid sealed exit on the second floor meant I couldn't go back and finish downstairs before taking Desther off to meet his fate. And I realised that my last save before going upstairs was outside the gate *sob*

So is there any way to get back downstairs? If not, is there much worth doing down there? Is there any items that I'll kick myself for not getting? Because if it's just a few monsters and random loot then I won't bother redoing it, but otherwise...
