Apart from a simple typo error in the adress here´s another idea:
Translation of adress could mean resolving his IP adress. Does he have a permanent connection ??? If not his IP adress is probably not known in the appropriate routing tables. It doesn´t matter if you have a flat rate or are *doing* internet call-by-call - normally each time you connect to your provider you get a new IP adress out of his pool. If you don´t have a static IP adress your server is simply not known in the internet.
Just my idea ...
