Weird! I know you never meet up with Silvershield in-game, so where in the manual does it describe him? (Curious, haven't had the manual in years.) Also of note is the way his house is falling all to hell: His son (or nephew, or something) was killed as a part of the caravan than Kagain wants to find, you can semi-abduct his daughter Skie, and one of the Missing Persons that Scar wants you to get to the bottom of was either a Silvershield or a Sashenstar: She was the one that owned the Ruby Ring that Scar wants.

Just a little powergaming nitpick: Dabron shows up as a result of your having killed Aldeth
anywhere--even in the Merchant League, after having completed his quest.
