You need to look in one of the .bif files, which contain data files. The one you need to edit is xpcap.2da IIRC, just copy it out and put a modified version in your override folder. Do *not* try to edit the version in the .bif directly, unless you like spending hours re-building offsets.
Or simpler, get the NearInfinity program, it runs on any java VM and even Macs should have one of those. It'll let you access the .2da you need directly. The change to make should be pretty obvious once you have the file. There are other tools to do this, but most of them are windows native.
But any remover should work with Mac BG1. Mac Infinity data-files are just the same as any other infinity data, so if oyu can open the .zip and put the .2da files in your override, your sorted.
