I started playing BG1 again, I forgot just how much fun it is, but here's the problem, I am a mac user, and while playing solo f/m/t I hit the exp cap fairly easily ><.
After fruitless hours of searching the web and a number of badly damaged files, thanks to resourcer and resedit, I am getting fairly annoyed. Can anyone tell me either where I can find a mac version of the cap remover or what to look for in the file itself to write my own? I know how to use resource editors but for some reason I can't figure out how to remove the cap, I'm not sure which file to look in even. I tried modifying various instances of the hex version of 89,000, but all I got for my trouble were stange crashes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
