It's eye-candy, put out there to raise the adrenalin level among the hordes of anticipating dungeoneers. I enjoyed watching it as a piece of computer animation and it did get me excited, but is pretty far detatched from the gameplay. I file all of this stuff under 'exciting scene-setting' for the game.
