In the end, I probably WILL give it a shot. But there are things that sorely disappoint me, and make me skeptical. I actually liked the divisions of profession among the races... what I've read out of the 3rd edition, it seems that elves are merely humans with pointy ears, dwarfs short scottish humans, etc. etc... and I have severe problems with the prestige classes.

But really, I think what will probably make or break NWN will be the quality of the adventure, and the ability of people to make good modules for it. I just definitely won't be in the first wave of people to buy it.
