I have a great idea. We should do what happens to animals in the zoo, but on purpose. I will explain!

In the zoo, animals are bred with each other. With only a small selection of say, Tigers, to breed, they eventually breed within their families. If this is repeated over and over then in a few years, all of the tigers that are born have no sense of a wild flare in them, and if trained well, can even be...nice.

Now let us take Xvarts or any other intelligent yet slightly violent creature. We put them in a special facility and wait. Sooner or later we will get an incredilby human like Xvart, or gnoll or tasloi. They will, with a human like upbringing, become useful members of society...

THEN WE CAN USE THEM AS CANNON FODDER IN A HUGE WAR WITH AMN!!!!

MUHUAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!
