I have had speed-runs where my PC (Fighter) hit the Bandit Camp when he was still Level 1.
By the same token, you should have all the enemies memorized, the locations of important items on the back of your hand, the positions and types of all of the Traps at the tip of your tongue. So, yes, a Solo Fighter can go through the game.
And Thieves can't Dispel Magic either.

About remembering the items, I am having trouble remembering if the tome for dexterity is the one under CK or the one in the Thieve's Guild (I think the latter is right). If it's the latter, then it would be no problem to become a thief.
I remember many of the dangerous traps, but the problem would be opening chests. Some important chests (like the one in the Bandit Camp that contains the documents) are trapped, and it would help to be able to disarm them. No point in taking useless damage. Plus there are some
very nice items that are in locked chests.
I know thieve's can't Dispel Magic...not unless you have BGT installed, which I don't.
My character currently has almost 158,000 as a fighter, so the next level won't come for quite some time. I think he'd be at level 9 by the time I got the tome, but I can deal with it .
BTW, how could you possibly get to the Bandit Camp still at level 1? Just completing the Nashkell Mines and Cloakwood Mines would easily get you a few levels. Even if you skipped just about every creature on the way and only fought Mulahey and Daevornean (spelling???), you would easily make
at least one level.
