Nice job on the salads! They are one of the most challenging things in the middle stages of the game...
Unfortunately, time passes as it passes -- no faster, no slower. The light is better in dungeons, though, so if you want to while away the night, consider doing it in style [img]smile.gif[/img]
One suggestion for your party -- hold off on upgrading your ranger to a paladin until you get the Fletchery skill (level 5, warrior guild). It's more than useful....

And IIRC, one downside to insanity is that you cannot access that character. IOW, if they're holding the quest item, you can't complete the quest until they're sane again. That doesn't apply in a solo game, but I believe it does in a party game. You may have noticed that your insane characters don't get chances to attack in combat, too...
