HAve you reviewed the Tech Tips thread and addressed the things for WinXP there? Specifically...

1. Have you done virtualdub for the .avi files?

2. Have you set Win95 compatibility mode for the executable?

3. Have you gotten the most current versions of your sound and vid card drivers?

4. Have you defragged your hard drive?

5. Have you fixed your virtual memory properly?

6. Have you disabled all non-essential programs while playing?

You might want to try Directx 9. I run with 9.0B (on Win98), and I have no problems. Running DX7 on XP may be problematic...

If you've done all those things and you're still stuck, post back with more information. We'll need...

1. OS (including service packs)
2. Video card make, model, and driver level
3. Sound card... same info
4. Specific details about when and where this blows up.
5. Whatever else may be running on the system.

Given that, we should be able to get you running, or at least get to another set of questions [img]smile.gif[/img]
