But an option for second-timers... there's a thought. Imagine a flag in addition to difficulty and spawn frequency: Oath enforcement. Wouldn't that make life... challenging...

Yes that is exactly what I meant. Lord, why would wielding the Mavin be necessary. You swear the oth in the crypt and it is that oath that you break when killing Freyedies. It doesn't matter if you have the Mavin in your backpack.
Come on Bungleau, you have to admit it would spice up the game some.
