Oh, yeah... that's a lot of fun. 'Most any monster, once engaged, will follow you until one or the other of you are dead. Missy had that happen with a pack of Worgurs near the start of her adventures... little buggers chased her from gate to gate, and she couldn't hit much of anything, weapons-wise.

There are also some creatures that will hunt you down, even if you've never encountered them. Juba Thobers and Mon the Sculz, in the Valeia area, will do this. And in the Ishad N'ha area, those salads will head after you once you've reached a certain area. I don't know exactly where, but...
