That's probably why Winski Peorate starts opening up his can of Flamestrike on you, too, although in my experience he only does that when you fail to save Belt and Liia. If you save at least one, you win, but if both die, you lose, whether you killed all the Doppelgangers or not.

When I said go straight for Sarevok I was of course talking about AFTER he's exposed.
Not saving the Dukes is a problem, so get rid of Sarevok once he's exposed and try to charm some of the Dopplegangers.
