I don't think that's a special feature for Shimwiki's spear Ukabu.
There seems to be a tughen bug when it comes to weapons and armor as well. No weapon I have ever blessed with vine magic has ever broken in my games. Heck I have even played through the game three times with an enchanted sword that was unbreakable. [img]smile.gif[/img]
