And I do know how to make the accented characters, but it's too much work without a French keyboard. I'd have to track down the alt-sequences for each one (upper and lower case), or perhaps do an "insert symbol" in a word doc and copy it over... too much work.

Willow, did you mean "mon pere est quebecois" or "mon pere est Quebec"? I've never met someone related to a whole province before (certain parts of West Virginia excepted).
