Actually, Olli, you can invoke it multiple times.
Just invoke it and sell it in a shop (other than the pawn shop, of course). When you buy it back, it will be recharged.
Repeat until you have the skill level you want.
I know that you can't invoke it as a samurai (poor Missy). I think you can as a ninja, or perhaps as a bard. I'll confirm the ninja shortly...
