Differences between WW and W8:
I have completed WW once (am attempting an Oomphas solo and thinking I'm stupid and imported my old Crusader's party into W8, did not create any new party members.
Graphics are better in W8 on a technical level. So far W8 is more frustrating than WW because of lack of information. W8 is harder to advance characters because they do not return to 'level one' when you change class on level-up...(sigh, remembers the previous W1-7). W8 is somewhat easier to raise skills (unless you know gold cheats for WW). W8's storyline (so far) is actually pulling Bane & Crusaders info into a fairly neat package but I'm really not far enough to give an opinion on that. I ran a six member party in both WW and W8 so far... NPC's that can join your party in W8 are interesting and a bit fun...
So far that's about it from a comparison. Both games are fun...I wish DWB would have been able to 'finish' WW to his satisfaction...maybe WW2 will tie up the loose ends (if it gets made).
