On a solo game inventory space is at a premium. The only things I've lost are 8 writs that I left in the foyer of the stout mine, but there are plenty of spares lying around in other places.
While I am looking for things to kill, I still haven't encountered Shrew Christi. I have the quest but have never found him in my other games either.
