It is just that simple. One thing I would like to add though;

When you level up, Don't spend skill points on any skill you can train in. The guild's always train you to the next 'full' level and they do round down not up.

example; If you spend 1 skill point to increase axe 2 to 2 & 50%, then when you go to train up, it will only be to 3, not to 3 & 50%.
