I've visited Kerah below the lake and got the small oblisk. When I get back through the pool, head north to get to the light table, both doors are closed just beyond the monkey cage (the one you close by the bird lever. I go to the northeast door where there is another level and I lower it and check both doors. I raise and check both doors but they are SHUT.

What is the world is the matter with this situation? Is there something I can do or have I come across a awful bug in the program?
