Xignal is right, do the Castle, then the Mines,then the Boogre Prison 'cause you'll get that much more experience, etc. and it's just a funny place to hang around in.

You can also complete a quest for someone in town. Then get back to serious business in the Spire. Have fun Skybreaker!
