Thanks for the reply, and the offer...

I was using a back-up CD to play with (so the original didn't get scratched or something), and, suspecting a possible copy protection safeguard, I stuck the original CD in and... Horray! It worked!

Just one more surprize I figure...

Finished up the game (...kept the Mavin!

), and I now have a Valkire and a Zen Master, and... now what? Nothing for them to do but rest on their laurels (?)...

Great game though... Even with the glitches.
