This has happened to many players and the best solution that we've found for it is:
send me or Xignal a copy of your gamexx.sav (ZIPPED or RARed) just before the time of the lock up. The game is stable on our machines so we can play you just past the point of lock up, resave the game and send it back to you so you can finish up the game.
