Some possibilities:
Use the spell Vanish near the outside ledge or along the western edge of the trees in the Boogre/Cyclops area.
If you have an athletic character pile up items near the tree at the corner of the ledge leading down to Brimloch Roon and then jump up to the ledge. I was once able to push Torin into that corner, jump up onto his head, and jump up (bouncing off the tree) and onto the ledge.
Or now that the way is "clear" you should be able to quickly move through the Spire to the exit. Ensure you have the bridge crank, though.
