Hi folks,

im a new gamer to W&W and bumping an old thread

just FYI - i applied this patch it works great on my Gefoce 6600 GT.

Before the patch - in D3D Mode i would always get blackouts on my screen, and it was very hard to pick stuff up - this is gone !!

As you notice the above link no longer works - however i found somebody that sent me the program i have uploaded it here for other users again

BTW I think this patch should be on the main download page of ironworks for W&W - its such a great patch and new players should really use it

I like W&W so far - its not as great as Wizardry8 but its fine for me - i have a party with average lvl6 and have finished the crypt...

Now - yesterday while reading another W&W info site - i found an AVI fix for buildings not clickable in the city...

Duh - i played the game for 5-10 hours and did not know that there is also a Bank and a Magic Shop in the first town - haha i always asked myself how my wizards can join a guild - well after applying the new AVI files for the town i could finally enter these buildings.
