I's so proud of myself! I think I just discovered a heretofore unkown BUG in the unpatched version!!!! This is my 1st time through...I have exploited the money bug, but I wanted to fund Blessings, plus I'm running with a party of 4 with maxed out difficulties/spawnrates/ect. Anyways, I've already got plans for my next run through where I plan to cheat like a Beeaaahhh**...so I've been enchanting lots of weapons and stuff. Well, For this cheat run, I'm taking 2 characters...a male Umpaz and a female dwarf (lvl 1 fighter & thief respectively). That I wanted to make a Zen Master and Valkyrie to start off with. (Yes, I used the Lamp to boost stats till INT maxed out...I'll finish the other stats off later...)
Anyways, My party of four has retrieved Gez's Heart and my female Wiska throws it into the Black Fire. I go back to town and grab the Dwarf and Umpaz...then go to the Temple. Well, the Priest gives his little chat to the Wiska, then, when the option for accepting the role change is queried, I changed over to the Dwarf....and the response menu stayed up....I hit yes, and !PooF! THe Dwarf is now a Valkyrie.
**THEN** I switch back to the Female Wiska who had tossed Gez's Heart...and The Priest again gives his spiel. This time, before answering yes or no, I switched to my MALE Lizourd.....and said YES. Guess what....MY MALE LIZOURD IS NOW A VALKYRIE!!!!! I switched back to the Wiska, and again the spiel...and this time I said yes, and poof, Valkyrie! *3* Valkyries for 1 Heart!!! Better yet, A MALE Valkyrie!!! I'm just a little psyched at this moment.....Grynn!!!
Hmmmm I wonder what it'd be like to play a Male Umpaz Valkyrie....Now THAT has possibilies!!
