Very unpleasant thing this insanity is, isn't it?
Insanity won't go away by itself, it can be cured with Restore Health (lvl.6 Spirit spell) or with Exorcism (lvl.7 Spirit spell). And, of course it can be cured in Temple, but it seems you can't go to any temple right now.
Hope you have those Spirit spells!

If you do not, then I'm afraid it is a problem.
