Personally, I don't know how you EVER managed to get Sarevok to beat Drizzt. In-game, I have NEVER heard anyone claiming to have beat Drizzt by any method other than taking advantage of the game's poor AI (oh, wait...I must correct myself....there was that one guy who claimed to have killed Drizzt in a fair fight, using only his four-person Level 2 party....right). He is, for all intents and purposes, unbeatable in standard BG1.

Sarevok, on the other hand, is pretty much a pushover. On one of my games, I managed to whack his goons without even scratching Sarevok himself, so I set up a nice little duel: My main character (Tank) drank every buffing potion under the sun (no spells), and took Sarevok mano a mano. He had over halp his HP left when Sarevok hit the floor. If I'd tried that with Drizzt, I'd have lasted about 9 seconds.
