Mine took 16 minutes for a full install, which I thought was rather long. Sounds like a CD-ROM issue to me, Draco. How fast is your CD? Mine's a 40X, so if yours is less, it will probably take longer...but I can't imagine why it would be 6 hours.

Check the manufacturer of your CD-ROM, and make sure you're using the latest drivers. Go to their website (whoever they are), look up your model, and download the latest drivers for it and install them, then try running it again.
