My main objection to being unable to spend the night
(other than the real-time wastage) has to do with
Role Playing, actually. I want to get into town, pull up a table and
rent a bed in a tavern and wait out the cold and the dark. Alternatively,
post a guard and sleep in the wilderness and take what comes to me. That was
what I liked about Might and Magic -- you could decide to rest for 5 min.,
1 hr., 8 hrs., "until dawn". Time passed, but it was more "real".
Still having a gread deal of fun with this one, though. The monster animations
are good (scary/beautiful) and the effects are great even in software mode.
The humans are less good as far as animation is concerned.
