Actually, I think Brinbath (the previous king) committed suicide...both Bilbump (the brother of the rat pie guy) and Erzebette claim so, and that he did so by jumping into the lava in the Burning Caverns Both of them claim it was because his dreams were making him go insane. Freyedies, however, claims Brinbath took a dagger to the head...a bit of a discrepancy. Hmmm, Black Knight, you may be on to something! The stories don't add up.
Raskalion also hates Freyedies cordially, whereas he liked Brinbath, so it's not a question of hating authority on his part.
