When you sell something, it remains in the store's inventory
ad infinitum.
If you can't find it, though...check with Lady Wvyern!
Also...you may need it to finish the "Orb of Clarity" quest, unless you went on and whacked the Gypsy for it. It can get you a pretty good stash below their house, though.
